“Civil disobedience, that’s not our problem. Our problem is that people are obedient all over the world in the face of poverty and starvation and stupidity, and war, and cruelty. Our problem is that people are obedient while the jails are full of petty thieves, and all the while the grand thieves are running the country. That’s our problem.”—Howard Zinn (via theministryoftruth)
On February 13, I got an inside tip to the Rhianna/Chris Brown fiasco. I was having dinner at a restaurant on Haight Street with a person who does video editing for The Insider and ET. He claimed that all the entertainment networks including blog cites were getting the information on all the dramz through a regular working girl. Some girl is screwing one of the detectives or police officers on the Rhianna/Chris case and leaking the information back to the press.
Live update: I refuse to use twitter or twatter, whatever
This evening I will not be studying for Middle East Politics. However, you can find me under the covers, reading past due news articles and an article in the New Yorker on one of my favorite writers. And I am addicted to Mario Kart and Super Mario Bros for DS.
“Money is the only thing you can’t own.”—Keith Tanner. Also known as, Mr. Keith by his third grade students. He said this to some affect way more eloquently but this is what I could remember after having two beers. The strongest beers of my short life.
Recently, I have embarked on this experiment called exercising. I have committed myself to walking three days a week when weather permits. I have marked my routes and have really started enjoying this whole map and picture concept of my city. This past Sunday I joined the rest of San Francisco and biked from my home in the Presidio, through GG Park and the Sunset. I failed to take pictures of the whole adventure but promise there will be more maps and pictures to come.
About 3/4 of your average turd is made of water. Of course, this value is highly variable - the water content of diarrhea is much higher, and the amount of water in poop that has been retained (voluntarily or otherwise) is lower. Water is absorbed out of fecal material as it passes through the intestine, so the longer a turd resides inside before emerging, the drier it will be.
